Something HUGE is coming to Airtree Resort – literally HUGE!

In conjunction with Offshore Cinemas we are bringing the movie Everybody’s Oma to Yarrawonga and showing it on the giant 8 meter inflatable screen here at Airtree Resort.

We will be hosting this outdoor screening in honour of Jule’s beautiful Mum Chezzie who was diagnosed with dementia over 7 years ago. Everybody’s Oma is a heart warming and heart wrenching documentary following one families unexpected dementia journey – it will make you laugh, it will make you cry but it really shines a light on the journey over half a million Aussie families are facing trying to navigate a loved one suffering this awful disease.

We are donating $10 from each ticket sold; we will also be running silent auctions and hopefully bringing a fun atmosphere here at the resort to help raise important funds for Dementia Australia.

Come and join us in our grassed courtyard for an outdoor dinner under the festoon lights around 6.30pm as Nadia from Longhouse Catering dishes up her amazing paella, followed by the movie screening at around 8pm.

BYO deck chair – if it looks like wet weather we have the option of doing this drive in style so you would be in your car like the old fashioned drive in … we will be hosting more of these outdoor movies in the coming months as Julie’s sister has just purchased the giant screen and is looking for places who are interested in hiring in the area. If you are interested check out their website they can also hire our headsets for silent disco’s and operate the cinema drive in style.

We will be selling popcorn, soft drinks & Maltesers on the night – we welcome you to BYO alcohol and BYO chair or picnic rug.

Popcorn Malteser Drink    $15 each – pre purchase so we can have it ready for you

REMEMBER $10 of each ticket sold will be donated to Dementia Australia

We also have accommodation available if you would really like to make a night / or even a weekend out of it. Room prices starting from $165 per night – book a room
